This weekend I took pictures of a family in Atlanta. This little pup belonged to them. She is so cute and her coloring is so unique.

Guess how old she is? She was really precious.

Recently I took some pictures of some hair stylists at a studio in Buckhead. It was a really fun night!

I photographed this baby’s big sister almost 2 years ago so I asked it I could take a few shots of the addition. Cuddling with this little thing made me ache for another child. She is so super sweet.

Big sister really cracked me up. She loved naming all the baby’s body parts and kept insisting she needed a diaper change.
This was big sister then:

This is big sister now. I hope to get more pics of her this week.

It was awesome to be able to take pictures of my good looking cousin and his beautiful girlfriend before they left for his senior prom.

Prom 1993 felt like ages ago after taking pictures of this bunch. Hanging with this group drove home the fact that I am definitely in my mid 30’s!!

The boys in the house were gone for the night so we made the most of our time alone. First: A good book. While the girls finished their dinner, I read aloud the first 2 chapters in one of their American Girl books. Second: Crafts! #2 was digging through a block of something to find dinosaur fossils. #3 wanted to make lip balm, which is a craft straight from the devil himself. By the end that waxy substance was all over the table, our hands and in our hair and everything we touched from the dining room to the shower. OH, that stuff is so waterproof. I thought I would never get it off. Third and last: Silly Photo Shoot. They were so totally up for it. They came up with EVERY outfit and EVERY pose. It was a blast. I think the boys should get out of the house more and let the girls stay in!

It’s been a fun day. The kids have played outside with the possibly only inch of snow they’ll see all winter. I have played in and outside with a friend’s camera and some different lighting gear. None of us have brushed our hair or teeth, made up a bed, or picked up anything around the house. For my own sanity I have kept up with the dishes.
Our neighbor visiting us in his p-jays!

I am messing around with some lights and a friend’s camera. The kids were unwilling to help me out and pose so I chose the next best thing – MACY!

There are just some people … a mom, a dad, a stranger, a kid … that just connect at a deep level within you in an instant.
This is one of those people.

This is her family and I loved hanging out with them.

My little niece is such a cutie. All the other kids wimped out real quick but this little girl loved it!
